Diego’s Door
The composition was written using just the sample 'Diego's Door', after which I named the work. Turning a 3 second sample into a 3 minute composition had the poeticism and symmetry to it as a concept which I used as my starting point for the piece. The final installation for this term of the poetry & architecture broadcast series 'AA After Babel' with Brian Hatton. This week, we are taken further into the dusk of narrow streets with the early poems of T.S. Eliot, including 'The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock' and 'Rhapsody on a Windy Night'.
