What is Podcasting?

Podcasting is distributing audio or video content via RSS 2.0, or Atom. Podcast clients such as iTunes , Juice , or CastPodder(linux) allow listeners to subscribe to your RSS/Atom feed and automatically download your content to their portable audio players as it becomes available.

How Does It Work?

By downloading and installing a free podcast program, you can subscribe to and automatically download new aair.fm podcasts.

Each time you go online, the podcast software will connect to podcast.aair.fm and search for new podcasts. You can then transfer them to an MP3 player or iPod and listen to them on the go.

How Do I Get Started?

1. Get podcast software

There are a lot of programs on the Web, but we recommend iTunes for both Mac and PC. Dowload the iTunes podcast receiver and follow the installation instructions.

2. Subscribe

Go to the podcast page which is called RSS Feed and subscribe using your selected podcast software OR In iTunes, go to ‘Advanced’ -> ‘Subscribe to Podcast…’ and when it asks for URL, add http://www.aair.fm/?feed=podcast to the text field, click ok and it should add aair.fm into your list of podcasts.
